Mr. Ananda heard the Buddha say that, his mind was filled with anxiety and sorrow, he cried out in pity, hid behind the Buddha, not far from the Buddha, he whispered: "Now I still have being a person in the study-ground [8] does not yet know the profound meaning in all dharmas, but the Heavenly-Sphinx, one day soon leaves me to enter Nirvana, when will I be on the way to liberation! " Having said that, he raised his hand to hold a branch; then he beat his chest, ripped his head, brain-coat, sadly passed out. At that time, the Blessed One asked another bhikkhu: "Where is Ananda now?" The other bhikkhu replied: "O World-Honored One! Mr. Ananda is now under a tree, behind the Tathagata, he is crying and crying. The Buddha said to the other bhikkhu: "You go to Mr. Ananda and tell him, 'Now the Deva-Spirit-Sensei wants to see you! "The other bhikkhu went to Mr. Ananda and clearly explained the Tathagata's intention to Mr. Ananda. When Mr. Ananda heard this, he immediately returned to the Buddha's place. Arriving there, his head bowed down to the Buddha's feet, then stood leaning to one side. The World-Honored One asked Mr. Ananda: “Recently I told you: "All physical characteristics are impermanent; the union of love and affection, they all return to the place of separation,” and yet, why are you still so sad and worn-out!” Again, Mr. A-Nan! “From the past until now, he has followed me, taking care of the work before, after, when going, when pointing, when walking, sometimes again, and communicating with the guests, all in accordance with etiquette; Again, I see that your body, speech, and mind are all pure and unblemished, and your benefits are incalculable!" The World-Honored One turned around and said to the Bhikkhus: "Ananda himself should not have such sadness and anxiety! What happen? – Because, soon, you will reach the place of liberation. The Bhikkhus should know: all the Buddhas in the past life had attendants, like Mr. Ananda today; So are the Buddhas of the future. The Bhikkhu-Khikkhus should know: Now Mr. A-Nan here, wisdom-magnificent, intelligent, spiritual-air-facilitation; So far, I have said what the Dharma-store, Mr. Ananda remembers and doesn't forget. Again, bhikkhus! Mr. Ananda knew the weather well, when he entered, when he pointed out: If any guest wants to come in and see me, Mr. Ananda will think ahead of the hour: The Blessed One or that hour will receive the guests. A bhikkhu, at one hour with bhikkhunis, at another with an Upasaka, at another with an Upādi, at another with a Brahmin, at another hour to receive the Satriyas, one hour to receive the Elders, the Laity, and the other time to receive the non-Buddhist ones. All of the above, if they see me and listen to me preach the Dharma, they will gain many merits and benefits. What happen? Because, All of them were brought in by Mr. Ananda to come to see me, so they got that kind of mature foundation." Again, bhikkhus! There are four strange and rare phenomena: First, if a brahmin who goes to the place of the Holy King, sees the face of the king, who is virtuous and virtuous. the noble king, their hearts are happy; After hearing the king's voice, the sound of the word being transparent, they also became joyful, until when they saw the king, they were silent and did not speak, they also embraced joy, exultation and joy. when they said goodbye to the king and returned to their old place of residence, they still remembered fondly, walking with sorrow and sadness, like a hungry man who could not be satisfied. Second, the small Shalitans. Third, the Bhikkhus [9]. Fourth, the people of the Thudala lineage [10] are also like that. These are the four miracles of the Holy King. You should know: Ananda also had four miracles: “First, If the bhikkhus, coming from afar, wanted to visit me, then seeing Ananda, they would all be happy, listening to him preaching the Dharma, and seeing him silent, would be happy, too. Until the time of farewell, the deep affection for the lord, never to be forgotten. Second, the Bhikkhu-Khikkhus. Third, the Upasakas. Fourth, the Upasakas are all the same. You should know: Ananda had these four wonders!" At that time, the World-Honored One said to Ananda: "Now, you should not give birth to your own sufferings and sorrows, but say, 'The Deity-Master is about to enter Nirvana. liberate again!” What happen? - "All the dharma-treasures I say, after I pass away, think, obey, preserve, diligently do diligently, I will soon be liberated myself!" SUMMARY After hearing the Buddha talk about the method of making offerings when he passed away, Mr. Ananda was sad, Crying and lamenting themselves are still practicing and studying, now they have lost their Master, and when will they be able to reach the path of liberation. Mr. A-Nan is a man of wisdom, intelligence, flexibility... What I say he remembers and doesn't forget. As for the new guest, he knows how to react to the right occasion. He also has the virtue that the Bhikkhus, the Bhikkhus, the Upasakas, and the Upasakas come back to visit me from afar, they see him, listen to him preach, or stay silent. -quietly, they were all happy; when they say goodbye they will still love him forever!"
